Well gang, Merry late Christmas.\u00a0 I’ve now moved onto another development team, this time some non-pipe smokers \ud83d\ude41 But, they are full time developers and have been working very hard helping me make this site a reality.\u00a0 I’m very hopeful to be able to ring in the new year with a beta and will actually know something in the next couple of days if the technical kinks get ironed out.\u00a0 The beta will have a limited set of features to start.\u00a0 Full cellar functionality, pipe log, and basic reviews.\u00a0 The import *should* also be available but we’ll see. I also want to thank the r\/pipetobacco community for their feedback and support in launching this product, as well as u\/flatticus for his legalese and suggestions, including some alpha testing that he doesn’t even know he’ll be doing yet.<\/p>\n

While badges haven’t made it into this early beta release that is coming, they will be in a future version and I’m working on some ideas for a couple – as you can see “import master” is the image on this post.<\/p>\n
