An Update!

Well gang, Merry late Christmas.  I’ve now moved onto another development team, this time some non-pipe smokers 🙁 But, they are full time developers and have been working very hard helping me make this site a reality.  I’m very hopeful to be able to ring in the new year with a beta and will actually know something in the next couple of days if the technical kinks get ironed out.  The beta will have a limited set of features to start.  Full cellar functionality, pipe log, and basic reviews.  The import *should* also be available but we’ll see. I also want to thank the r/pipetobacco community for their feedback and support in launching this product, as well as u/flatticus for his legalese and suggestions, including some alpha testing that he doesn’t even know he’ll be doing yet.

While badges haven’t made it into this early beta release that is coming, they will be in a future version and I’m working on some ideas for a couple – as you can see “import master” is the image on this post.
